What is the Liverpool Counts Quality Mark? 

This year, St Brigid’s is working towards the Liverpool Counts Quality Mark. Our aim is to raise the profile of and celebrate maths throughout the school. To do this we need everyone to be involved: children, teachers, parents, dinner staff, governors, cleaners and visitors.

We are going to be ensuring that everyone around our school community is positive about maths and we will also be demonstrating how numeracy is essential for life.

What can you do as a parent? 

• Always be positive about maths. Here at St Brigid’s we believe everyone can do well in the subject
• Point out to your child how maths is everywhere in the world around us
• Attend the numerous family learning events that we have planned to celebrate maths throughout the year
