Our ‘Year of Reading’ has really had an impact :-)
The hard work of pupils, parents/carers, staff and governors is really having an impact on outcomes for pupils – let’s keep it going next year. Please take the time to read the case study completed by our Pathways Adviser (and serving Ofsted inspector), Margot D’Arcy (see attached).
Year 5 have been studying the work of Banksy this term and the messages he portrays in his images. After creating their own graffiti ‘tags’ they worked as a class alongside Zap Graffiti to paint a mural on our Space building walls.
Check out their work in progress.
Y4-6 Residential Trip 2019
We’ve had so much fun at Robinwood this week. The children (and staff) have made the most of every opportunity to test their boundaries and prove that they can always be that ‘little bit braver’! Well done to everyone for giving 100%. Check out our Twitter account and Seesaw accounts for more photos 🙂
Why is six afraid of seven?
Because seven eight nine!
We celebrated all things related to number on Wednesday 6th February. Children and staff wore a number of their choice to school and each class participated in different engaging activities linked to number throughout the day – it was lots of fun!
Take a look at some photographs from the day and visit our school blogs for more.
Peace Proms 2019
The children from Y5&6 were excellent representatives at the 2019 Peace Proms Event on Saturday. It was a pleasure and a privilege to be part of a choir with more than 2000 pupils from across Merseyside as they sang and danced with support from a live orchestra.
